Tall in stature, with an active profile, this pipe presents a forward-surging bowl rounded at the top a bit like an Acorn, but with a substantial heel and traditional transition keeping it more on the bent Billiard side of the pipe chart. Of course, as a Savinelli Autograph, it was crafted by a single artisan according to their vision and not bound to any conventional shaping demands. The result is a capacious bowl that feels supple in hand, and a sinuous shank-and-stem combination and light weight that promise excellent jaw-hanging potential. A warm smooth finish dresses the briar's natural beauty, bringing to life dense striations across the bowl's right flank and fore for further visual appeal.
